We got a good report from the doctor today. He said mom was progressing well and is ready to start putting "some" weight on her foot. She no longer has the cast but does have a boot. She just got done washing her foot for the first time since December 15th. For now she will continue to use the scooter at work, but use crutches at home with some pressure on the foot, increasing as she feels comfortable. We go back in 3 weeks. Then she will likely start physical therapy to rebuild the strength and motion in the leg. We're making progre

YEA! I'm so happy you are getting along well, and recovering nicely. I bet it feels good to have that cast off. It does feel weird that you had a cast and I never saw it and now it's already gone! :( Miss you all.
